About the role

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Designer for our US Wealth marketing team. In this role, you will lead marketing design activities and produce design artifacts to support our go-to-market solutions and strategies for our Wealth business. The role reports to the design director for Wealth (US).

Job responsibilities:

• Designing a wide variety of digital and print content including one-pagers, landing pages, case studies, videos and animations, social media, blog posts, email marketing, RFPs, and sales collateral
• Owning all parts of the design process from discovery, definition, development, and delivery
• Demonstrating core design skills\xe2\x80\x94especially concerning typography, composition, information hierarchy, and data visualization\xe2\x80\x94to create delightful, engaging experiences that reinforce the Morningstar brand
• Solving challenging information and communication design problems and being able to present multiple concepts for consideration, with sound rationale
• Demonstrates significant experience designing marketing materials for print, digital, social, and motion expressions for software, web, and/or digital products
• Executes design solutions through multiple channels such as print, social, email, webinar, presentations, websites, and multimedia
• Creates in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, and Mac OS

Qualifications:

• Completed a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Communication Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering/Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and proactively
• Ability to provide art direction and feedback to other designers, and to receive and incorporate feedback gracefully
• Collaborative, curious, and self-motivated

Nice to have:

• Experience in finance
• Understanding of web analytics, SEO, and content management
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS basics
• Experience with project management software, like Asana and Jira
