If you are looking to take ownership of the development of data pipelines, data infrastructure, and data warehouse design and implementation this is the perfect position for you!

You will team up with technology and business stakeholders, advocate for high-quality processes and data, and eliminate roadblocks. You'll also enhance our collaborative environment by supporting the engineers on your team through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage our growing portfolio of geospatial and demographic datasets to drive our internal products
• Design data models to support analytics platforms
• Connect new data sources to our Global Data Warehouse and facilitate our data science & Product teams to deliver new products
• Monitor all areas of performance on our platforms
• Assist with Modelling, ETL/ELT, and all configuration of a wide range of toolsets
• Secure all confidential configuration and documentation

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proven experience working with data, APIs, and Python (particularly Apache Airflow)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and using databases for data retrieval such as Snowflake, MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, PostGIS
• Experience with data tools in the Modern Data Stack - DBT (Data Build Tool), Fivetran, High touch
• Strong experience with Containerized development and Docker, especially in Azure
• Use of Azure DevOps (GIT) and Docker in an Azure Environment
• Experience with DBT would be a big bonus
• Some experience with Airflow would be a bonus
