The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and lead efforts in optimising driver pay. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics and work closely with a data science team analysing driver performance data, designing incentive programs, aided by predictive models to maximise earnings while maintaining cost-efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will be part of an established team of data scientists with experience in these areas, and work closely with multiple teams, from product to tech. teams, collaborating and building the next generation of algorithms and policies that will scale our business.

This role will require interfacing with different teams, and working under sharp production deadlines. You will take part in the product development cycle shaping cutting edge solutions, while mentored by a Lead Data Scientist and some of the most experienced leads in the market.

Being part of the team means that you will work in an Agile environment, having constant interaction with the team, stand-ups and many peer-reviews where we will help you perfect your models and solutions from end-to-end. Therefore, ensuring an effective deployment, being comfortable analysing, troubleshooting and explaining why & how your solution works are key to this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and organise large data sets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy

• Clean and transform raw data into a format that can be easily analysed

• Develop and implement data models, data dictionaries and algorithms to analyse data

• Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns and trends in the data

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions

• Communicate findings and results to cross-functional teams, both verbally and through data visualisations

• Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports for stakeholders

• Continuously monitor data quality and accuracy, identifying and resolving data discrepancies

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and modelling

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum of a year of experience in data analysis or related field

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets

• Proficient in statistical analysis tools

• Knowledge of SQL and database management

• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS

• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Demonstrate experience on experimentation.

• Experience with machine learning models is a plus
