Job Description

This is a fully remote Senior Conveyancer position. We're looking for someone with at least 7 years experience as a Conveyancer, who can work full time during office hours (8-5).

About the Position:



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our thriving real estate team. As a Conveyancer, you'll play a critical role in organizing and managing conveyance files. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly attitude, and professionalism on the phone.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare sales, purchases, and mortgages with no assistance Registration on closing and reporting to law firms Manage and organize conveyancing files. Email correspondence and follow up. Ensure files are properly organized and prepared for closing. Communicate via email and phone with third parties such as clients, lenders, insurance brokers, realtors, and lawyer/notary offices. Perform clerical tasks, including data entry, document preparation, filing, and correspondence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe is essential. Experience with conveyancing software such as eConveyance, ProSuite, and Goveyance. Strong clerical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent proofreading skills to maintain high documentation standards. Outstanding organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A professional and friendly communication style, both on the phone and via email.

You have at least three years of recent, full-time experience as a residential real estate conveyancer. You can complete a conveyance transaction (including purchases and mortgages) with no supervision. You are bright, personable, and passionate about facilitating one of the most significant transactions in people's lives. You have a confident, kind, and professional demeanor in all communications. You excel in organization, self-motivation, and prioritizing time-sensitive tasks. You can handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism. You are familiar with BC Online, LTSA, and possess strong technical skills, including converting file types, merging documents, and troubleshooting software issues.

What You'll Need:

A high-speed computer, reliable internet connection, and phone line.
Proficiency in Word and Adobe--this position is 100% paperless, so strong computer skills are essential.
