Senior Controller (Full Time, In Office - Cambridge, ON)
Salary:
$110,000-$130,000 per yearAbout the Role:
We're looking for a builder, not a babysitter. You'll own the finance engine--close, controls, cash flow--and design the systems that scale the company. If you want to lead, solve, and actually make your mark (not just review the books), keep reading.
Who You Are:
CPA, in good standing, with 7-10 years' true controllership experience (not "assistant to the controller") Built and led teams, delivered tight closes, owned multi-entity reporting Strong D365, Power BI, and Excel skills--if you "need to look into macros," this isn't for you Understands how the business moves, and can turn operations into numbers and strategy Thrives in a high-feedback, high-urgency environment (think "founder speed," not "committee pace")
What You'll Do:
Lead the full accounting function: team, close, controls, cash management Oversee AP, AR, payroll, audits, and bank relationships (hands-on, not just oversight) Build and upgrade processes, automate wherever possible, coach and develop staff Partner with CEO/Founder for scenario modelling, reporting, and strategic planning
