This role will provide support to the design team to deliver test fit/feasibility drawings to support the implementation of retail design and inclusive design strategies, execute on activities to meet milestone dates, coordinate with other work streams to provide design support, coordinate and manage vendors and consultants on deliverables, to integrate and maintain comprehensive project controls outlined by the project team, create detailed summary reports and communication documents.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Relationship management & Service excellence \xe2\x80\x93 Work with the Retail Design Team to set priorities and develop strategic solutions ensuring both are consistent with our Bank\'s overall real estate delivery strategy and project management methodology.
  • Project support \xe2\x80\x93 Work with the Internal Business Lead(s) and project team members, to support design activities including the development of quality control and design review, site reviews, objectives, success criteria, standards, benefits management approach, scope, requirements, outlining costs, defining resource requirements, timelines and other related project tasks
  • Graphics and drafting design \xe2\x80\x93 Using design software, you will draw diagrams, make mathematical calculations and suggest specific materials and details for designs. Interpret design/marketing/branding concepts by preparing drawings, plans, and relevant documents to communicate design intent. Provide test-fit/pre-design drawings, by hand or by using CAD/3D software, with the CIBC design standards and technical details appropriately included.

  • You can demonstrate 10+ years of experience in interior design, or architecture and a Bachelor degree or equivalent in a design related program.
  • You can demonstrate Technical skills in ACAD, PowerPoint and Blue Beam. Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling capabilities will be an asset. Technical skills and knowledge in Commercial building construction knowledge, Accessibility and Building Code.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re a certified professional. You have current accreditation and good standing in ARIDO. PMP or LEED AP will be an asset.
