Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world. : As part of the Global Talent (GT) Consulting team, the Senior Consultant will design innovative solutions for strategic Practice areas of focus, which includes: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Future of Work, and Learning & Development. The incumbent will develop and implement processes and tools that will elevate our employee, people manager and business partner experiences. The incumbent will approach new work with a curious and agile mindset that will be necessary to solve unique challenges. This incumbent, along with other Consultants in the Consulting Team, will employ a fluid, collaborative approach to work, forming and dissolving teams as necessary to solve problems. Consultants may act as engagement leads, project managers, advisors, as individual contributors or as part of a larger work team, depending on the project. While Consultants have a dedicated Performance Coach as their direct manager, Consultants are expected to work with Leads from all Practices, and partner with other Consultants across various projects / programs. What will you do?

  • Conceptualize, design, implement and execute on multiple programs and projects, simultaneously, across a span of different practice areas (e.g. Future of Work, L&D, DE&I, Talent Acquisition, etc…)
  • Manage and balance a slate of different projects, ensuring that delivery and execution is on track for priority items
  • Deliver unique subject matter expertise and research / gather external intelligence on best practices to apply to programs / policies
  • Develop recommendations and document execution on core deliverables (e.g., playbooks) to transition work to be operationalized as needed
  • Develop relationships with HR Business Partners to ensure appropriate solutions in support of new and innovative work
  • Partner with Practice Leads and other Consultants to effectively design and implement optimal programs across the enterprise
  • Be an engaged member of the Consulting Team, providing and soliciting feedback as needed to help the development of peers

  • Advanced level of English and French required for Quebec applicants - interactions with English-speaking clients or partners
The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
