Role Summary

The Consultant, Business Systems Analyst works with internal and external stakeholders including the technology and business teams to develop and implement data warehouse solutions tailored to a projects requirements. The nature of the projects varies from Waterfall to Agile, and technology varies from legacy to cutting edge. They are involved throughout the project lifecycle by participating in capturing and documenting requirements, test strategy/plans, test cases, execution of testing and sign-off. They are supported by the team members and the Practice Manager.

This position does not have any direct reports.

Day to Day Deliverables

• Develop a deep, multilayered understanding of the business issues, challenges of the clients organizations and their industries
• Demonstrated skills in Documenting requirements e.g. BRD, SRS, Test Documents, MOP, Data Mapping, or Data Dictionaries
• Experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cloud Projects
• Create detailed business, functional and non-functional requirement documents, provide ongoing updates and review throughout the project life cycle
• Collaborating with internal teams (Project X ltd.), external teams (3rd parties), and client team members
• Up-to-date knowledge of, and adopt relevant market trends and practices

4+ years Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field
• Must have experience with Cloud technologies
• Must have experience with data analysis and tools
• Related experience as a business systems analyst in a business environment
• Familiarity with software development and project management lifecycle practices
• Experience with different BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStratgey etc.)
• Experience working in Azure, AWS or GCP cloud environment
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to convey complex ideas, verbally and in writing, to both business/technical staff and customers
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks varying in complexity, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
