Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will play a crucial role in developing compliance strategies, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties



Provide oversight of all daily compliance operations, including regulatory reporting, client on-boarding, and other due diligence processes. Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Update and maintain the company's AML compliance manual and risk assessment program. Educate and train personnel on compliance procedures and facilitate annual compliance testing. Liaise with regulators and serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters. Oversee project management for regulatory audits and reviews. Perform administrative tasks as required, such as record keeping and data entry.

Skills



Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to adapt to change, multitask, and work well under pressure and deadlines. Strong foundation in compliance and risk management procedures.

Preferred Experience:

AML, FINTRAC, and/or other relevant experience within financial services.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
