Aspire Software is currently looking for a Senior Communications Manager to join the team! Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software is the operating division of Valsoft and is currently looking for a Branding & Communications leader to join the team. In this role, you will be given the authority to control and oversee the maintenance and building of the Aspire Software brand. We're looking to tell our story to both an internal and external audience therefore the key responsibility is communications. We want someone who isn't shy to speak their mind, express an opinion and has that entrepreneurial DNA in them. The Team: You will be joining a team that will be building something from the ground up. This is a unique role in which you'll be empowered and accountable for supporting growth marketing and communications. What your day will look like:

  • Lead the Aspire Software brand expansion. You will have ownership of the brand and its delivery across all channels.
  • Responsible of internal and external communications including events management (Leadership summit, Intranet, social media, website, etc.).
  • Focus on a brand awareness strategy utilizing social media, webinars and thought leadership.
  • Own and lead the content strategy to position Aspire Software as the partner of choice in the Vertical Market Software space.
  • Help drive our global employer brand and our narrative to both employees and customers alike.
  • Analyze the success of Marcom activities to determine where investments should be made.
  • Develop and engage in PR activities across Europe and North America.
  • Support demand generation activities.
About you:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with a track record of leading marketing and communications projects, including brand development, content ideation and PR
  • Strong project management skills ideally having used tools such as Monday.com/Asana
  • Excellent listening, verbal communication and writing skills
  • An analytical skillset in which you're comfortable using GA, SEMrush and other tools to track and evaluate performance
  • Computer skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and intermediate design skills considered an asset
  • Ability to organize and prioritize accountabilities
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude, positive attitude, customer-focus, and interest to learn
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but not required
  • A robust sense of humor required
  • Post-secondary education
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
