  • Planning and reporting:
  • Works collaboratively with the Communications team on the following:
  • Yearly stakeholder relations strategy
  • Quarterly summary and evaluation of stakeholder relations activities
  • Quarterly look-ahead and work plan for stakeholder relations activities
  • Quarterly summary and evaluation of stakeholder relations issues related to day-to-day design and construction, including themes and proposed improvements to problem areas
  • Summary and evaluation of research undertaken to support the ongoing evaluation of communications and stakeholder relations activities, delivered annually, at a minimum
Stakeholder Indigenous Relations Initiatives
  • Participate in Indigenous engagement and Stakeholder Relations activities, as directed by the City, and providing project persons, who are credible, knowledge about the project and sensitive response to Stakeholder concerns
  • Develop and implement a day-to-day design and construction stakeholder relations, commitments and communications with stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with stakeholders in relation to the day-to-day design and construction of the project
  • Plans schedule, attend and facilitate stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare event content including display boards, information session discussion guides and fact sheets
  • Anticipate, identify and develop reasonable mitigations to any potential stakeholder relations issues that have the potential to adversely affect the City or the project
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate project information and/ or personnel and technical experts as requested by the City for the purposes of understanding, addressing and mitigating stakeholder relations issues.
  • Construction Support
  • Construction signage including designing, scheduling, installation, maintenance and updates
  • Wayfinding and \'open for business\' signage
  • Draft and edit various materials required throughout construction
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
  • Minimum 5 years related experience working with governmental agencies, municipalities, large public infrastructure programs, and communicating via multiple platforms
  • Post secondary education in Communications, Indigenous Relations, English, Political Science or related field
  • Proven ability to communicate with all levels of people from homeowner to elected officials
