Context:
You'll guide commercial strategy for Systra's key rail and transit projects, partnering with senior leaders and delivery teams to uphold contractual best practices and advance outcomes that matter to communities.
Missions/Main Duties:
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the detailed day-to-day tasks and streamlining the commercial management processes:
Support the Commercial Director in the delivery of the commercial objectives for the project.
Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships, developing mutual trust and understanding with the client contractor and members of the Client/ Project team.
Support the procurement of the various Contractors through RFP to financial close on behalf of the Client.
Support the leadership during Development phase in Target price negotiations.
Support on definition of Allowable Costs, assessment of incentive reward payments, verifying eligible cost.
Control, manage, and report contractual obligations from procurement to final account including contract administration involving Early Warnings and Change Control
Continuously improving tender reports, protocols and documentation including the following key deliverables.
Budget planning, forecasting and cost management.
Support aspects of contract administration including payment certification, reconciliations, cost reporting, change management and reporting on progress.
Provide substantial input to performance measurement systems, Key Result Areas/ KPIs, implement long term improvement processes and monitor the results.
Training and development, mentoring of junior staff
