As a Senior Cloud Accountant [Bookkeeper] your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping preparation and posting of client transactions
• Supporting the preparation of compilation engagements, including preparation of financial statements
• Preparing adjusting journal entries
• Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Performing reconciliations of payroll and T4 returns
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and HST returns
• Assisting a broad range of privately held business clients with day-to-day accounting queries
• Completing additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required
• Collaborate with clients on a regular basis
• Train and mentor junior colleagues

Think youve got what it takes to be a Senior Cloud Accountant [Bookkeeper]? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes were also hoping you can tick:

• An accounting certificate, diploma or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in bookkeeping
• The ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to be an articulate, inspiring and versatile communicator, both written and verbal
• QuickBooks online certified
• Ability to execute on deliverables in a deadline driven environment
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and complex environment
• Results oriented with a sense of urgency. Quick learner, self-starter and exudes a can do attitude
• Good understanding of team dynamics and cohesion. Strong team player and collaborator
• Desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a high-performing team
