Role Overview
As Senior Cladding Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, managing manpower and resources, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring all work is performed in line with safety requirements, project specifications, and company expectations. You will be a mentor to crews, a problem-solver on site, and a key driver of project success.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and direct cladding crews to maintain project timelines and efficiency.
Act as the main point of contact with general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, trades, and internal teams.
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance through site audits and documentation.
Manage manpower allocation and resource planning to support production goals.
Lead and participate in project meetings, including kickoff, coordination, turnover, and close-out sessions.
Coordinate site access and equipment needs with the Project Management team.
Monitor quality control, ensuring detailing standards and workmanship meet contractual requirements.
Recruit, train, and support field employees while fostering a positive team environment.
Approve project hours, monitor production metrics, and ensure performance commitments are met.
Adapt quickly to changing site conditions and provide proactive solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 5 years of cladding experience in a leadership position (Foreman, Superintendent, or similar).
Strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, building envelope requirements, and code compliance.
RCABC background with knowledge of apprenticeship pathways and industry training.
Journeyman certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
Skilled at interpreting and managing construction specifications, drawings, and safety requirements.
Proficient in Outlook, Bluebeam, Excel, Word, and related software.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Proven leadership skills with clear, professional communication (verbal and written).
Strong ability to build relationships, manage conflict, and maintain a collaborative work environment.
