Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and group homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with meal planning. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for clients with specific needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, nursing, or social work is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to monitor changes in client behavior or condition. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need of support.
