On Site Work Model - 5x a week at Markham ON Corporate Head Office

What You'll Be Doing:

You will be a key member of the Investments team, and will be responsible for providing insightful, actionable analysis on our key acquisition and development opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with all areas of the organization and provide value-added analytics and recommendations.


Completion of detailed financial modeling for acquisition and/or development opportunities, including synthesizing insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the executive team. Assisting in the preparation of summary documents needed for Investment Committee submission and approvals. Assisting in the management of due diligence processes, including working with third-party brokers and advisors Assist in deal documentation and transaction closings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders across our business segments with the goal of understanding the underlying business model and drivers of performance. Support other ad hoc financial analysis in relation to optimizing the performance of the same property portfolio Performing other duties and support various projects as assigned

Who You Are:

The successful candidate will have solid transaction advisory experience with a good understanding of financial due diligence, valuations and financial modeling with the ability to quickly obtain an understanding of the seniors housing industry


Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or real estate preferred Certified Professional Accountant CPA with good standing membership of CPA Canada, OR Chartered Financial Analyst with good standing membership of CFA Societies Canada is a BONUS! 1-3 years of relevant working experience ((e.g., real estate, accounting firm, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, and/or corporate finance, etc.) Excellent financial modeling skills with the ability to develop comprehensive financial models, forecast the impact of transactions on the Company, and develop business cases to support recommended actions Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to operate independently and willingness to own and improve processes Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of working with individuals across various levels and backgrounds Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Willingness to work onsite at our Markham, Ontario Head Office
