What you'll do

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence while ensuring safety. Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning tailored to individual dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility challenges using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans developed by healthcare providers.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in home health or assisted living settings. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and HIPAA regulations. Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous experience in social work or direct support roles is a plus.
