We are hiring a Senior Buyer & Analyst based out of our St. Thomas, ON office location (hybrid work environment, 3 days in St Thomas office). Join our Supply Chain team & let\xe2\x80\x99s build our home together!

A Senior Buyer & Analyst is responsible for managing strategic suppliers of the business to ensure that customer demands, and service levels are met, and that components and finished goods are procured in an efficient and timely manner while meeting inventory targets.

This role is responsible to identify / resolve any supply chain issues from suppliers while also performing purchasing related analytics to drive better decision making and improve efficiency.

What You Will Do!

• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on safe work practices to meet Safety and 5S targets
• Manage strategic suppliers through effective negotiations and long-term relationship building while developing and maintaining metrics of success for all suppliers that account for their performance in quality, service and costs reductions.
• Participate in Glass house to meet TCP target
• Analyze Procurement data to drive purchasing metrics improvement and drive efficiency
• Participate in or direct cross functional teams within the organization to implement process improvements or introduce new products.
• Assist in development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures intended to continuously improve the purchasing systems and processes
• Assist in development of departmental goals and objectives for the purchasing team that align with the overall Masco Canada goals and objective.
• Ensure compliance with established Masco Internal Control procedures

What You Will Bring!

• 5-10 years of experience in a various purchasing related positions with increasing responsibility
• 3-5 years of experience in a management position in a fast-paced purchasing environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced PC & Microsoft Excel user
• Collaboration & continuous improvement mindset
• Effective communication
• Experience using JDE is an asset
• Product knowledge is an asset
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective negotiating and influencing skills
• Project and process management experience
