We are searching for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our BI & A team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

• Transforms raw data into meaningful information for the organization
• Determines the best way to integrate various data sources and information to maximize analytical output
• Develops and enhances reports and dashboards for use by decision makers
• Translates business challenges into effective business solutions through the use of analytics
• Mines data to support the business in determining root causes for resident and site outcomes
• Utilizes analytics to develop predictive insights for the business development and growth

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 5 + years experience in an analytical role
• Experience with visualization and data processing tools including Power BI
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Collaborative team approach with problem-solving and decision making skills
• Strong continuous learning mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
