You Are:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst (BA) with 7-15 years of experience in the residential whole loan and single mortgage loan domain. This role is critical to the successful launch of a new non-agency jumbo residential whole loan product, involving both loan trading and securitization.
The opportunity:
Lead the business analysis efforts for launching a new residential whole loan product, focusing on non-agency jumbo loans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, risk, and front office to gather and clarify business requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Drive the design and implementation of workflows for buying/selling whole loans and structuring mortgage pools for securitization.
Manage project tracking and documentation using JIRA or similar tools.
Ensure alignment across stakeholders and proactively resolve issues or roadblocks.
Support testing, validation, and go-live activities, including UAT planning and execution.
Maintain awareness of regulatory, credit, and market risk considerations throughout the product lifecycle.

What you need:
7- 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in residential mortgage or whole loan domains.
Deep understanding of mortgage loan products, including origination, servicing, and secondary market processes.
Proven ability to manage end-to-end BA responsibilities in complex, cross-functional environments.
Proficiency with JIRA and other business analysis/project tracking tools.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives with a sense of urgency and ownership.
Preferred
Qualifications: Experience with Situs AMC platforms, including: CentricityRateLockSBO (Servicing Business Optimization)
Exposure to risk modeling, including: Credit risk Market risk Liquidity risk
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and structured finance, particularly: Mortgage-backed securities (MBS)Non-agency residential whole loans Securitization processes
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CBAP, PMP) are a plus
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-Canada
Compensation Range: $115,000-$144,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
