Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support healthcare interoperability initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams to define and translate requirements into actionable user stories within Agile environments.
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid
Must Haves:
Proven hands-on experience with FHIR standards (resource modeling and APIs)
Experience working in Agile methodology using Azure DevOps or Jira
Skilled in translating business requirements into clear user stories
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience collaborating with both business users and IT development teams
Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis to identify client needs and document detailed requirements
Translate requirements into models, user stories, use cases, and non-functional specs
Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews
Conduct business process, data flow, and conceptual modeling
Support Agile teams through backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing support
Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and traceability matrices
Advise on business analysis standards and support continuous improvement
