On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst (Maximo) to join our Client's team on a 12-month contract with the potential to extend annually for up to 2+ additional years. This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in Vancouver, BC.Summary of the RoleThe Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for leading enterprise system projects, including business and system assessments, requirement development, business process design, testing, system implementation, and enhancements. This role will specifically support and enhance the Maximo 7.6 system, including integrations with other platforms, working as part of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) development team to drive software enhancements and a major platform upgrade.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth discovery into software enhancement requests, identifying business problems, potential solutions, and expected outcomes.
  • Develop detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements, workflows, and use cases.
  • Perform change impact assessments, addressing risks, gaps, and stakeholder concerns.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, feedback sessions, and readiness assessments to monitor change adoption.
  • Lead Maximo Asset Management implementations and enhancements, supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Define enhancement scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with IT PMO processes and required documentation.
Core Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis or project management.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise-class applications in medium to large organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Acquire-to-Retire business domains; experience with IBM Maximo is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to oversee IT systems and programs.
  • General awareness of IT disciplines, including Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, SaaS, and Cybersecurity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with enterprise software development and integration projects.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong analytical skills to support business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to drive business process improvements and technology adoption.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement in complex IT environments.
TermsThis is a 12-month contract with the potential to extend annually for up to 2+ additional years.
