Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Bookkeeper will play a key role in supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Prepare and maintain budgets, providing insights on variances and financial performance Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management Generate financial reports to support decision-making processes for management Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support as needed

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Experience in bookkeeping with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations Ability to perform account reconciliations effectively Strong analytical skills for account analysis and budgeting purposes Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39.25-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 37.50 per week
