We are seeking a

Senior Auditor

to join our growing Toronto practice. We specialize in audit of listed companies and IPO engagements globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, financial auditing, and regulatory reporting, with the ability to manage engagements and mentor junior staff. This role requires advanced analytical skills, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with GAAS and internal audits is essential.

Key Responsibilities



Design and execute audit procedures based on client business operations, risks, and internal controls. Perform audit procedures related to clients' financial statements and related disclosures. Interact directly with clients to discuss audit findings and resolve fieldwork issues. Supervise, coach, and mentor audit staff; perform first-level reviews of work completed. Conduct research on accounting and auditing matters and document well-supported conclusions. Utilize

data analytics

and

data visualization

tools to enhance audit efficiency and insights. Deliver high-quality work within deadlines while providing exceptional client service. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals across multiple offices. Work effectively in a

hybrid environment

. Travel for client engagements, including international travel (Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe).

Qualifications



3+ years

of public accounting or equivalent audit experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

preferred

, or an

advanced diploma with relevant accounting and auditing coursework

will be considered. PA designation

is welcome but not required.

CPA designation from Canada, the U.S., or other jurisdictions with equivalent professional standards (e.g., Hong Kong, UK, China)

is recognized.

Ability to travel up to

25%

, including international travel. Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bilingual abilities are an asset (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, European languages).

Skills & Competencies



Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong technical skills in accounting, auditing, and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, delegation, and time management. Ability to work efficiently in complex, multi-office teams. Strong interpersonal skills and client-service mindset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $64,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
