Your role:

  • Help carry out Audit mandates in agile mode, by taking charge of mandate sections or acting as a mandate leader.
  • Identify risks that could have major repercussions on the processes examined (efficiency and optimization) and establish the audit strategy, particularly by using data analysis to understand trends and identify anomalies.
  • Assess internal controls, analyze the problems encountered, and help identify root causes in cooperation with the partners concerned
  • Draft the findings and help present the results of the work carried out to the managers responsible for the processes being examined
  • Provide partners with regular, rigorous follow-up on the progress of the action plans developed following the work of Internal Audit and regulatory authorities, and ensure the quality of documentation
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and maintain trust-based relationships with the stakeholders of the processes audited and with auditors from other Internal Audit teams, the 2nd lines of defence, and external auditor
As a Senior Auditor, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll be responsible for auditing the operational aspects of a variety of Personal Banking and Client Experience sector processes, such as end-to-end processes related to cards and payments (debit, credit), financing (mortgages, loans, and lines of credit), and transaction services (bank accounts, P2Ps). You will also contribute to audit mandates for regulatory risk management, credit risk, and brand and client experience governance.

Competencies required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience OR master\'s degree in a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in risk management and/or internal or external audit, in an advisory role with managers OR experience in a product and/or execution management role related to the Personal Banking sector
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, ability to simplify and synthesize information
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will collaborate with a regulator, authorities, government bodies, or other entities outside Quebec

  • \xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working on several files at the same time
  • Leadership, sense of initiative, and strong learning abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and make diagnoses
  • CPA, CA (or CMA, CGA, CIA) designation
