Who We AreWe are a well-established architectural firm of 25+ years with offices in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Florida primarily working in the hospitality, retail, commercial and entertainment sectors. Some of our clients include, Tim Hortons, Lululemon, TJX, McDonalds, LEGO, and Disney!The PositionWe're looking for both senior and intermediate level candidates who are experienced enough to take the lead on project drawings and construction detailing. The ideal candidate is proactive, has excellent time management skills and can work independently and within a team.Some of the Things You'll Work On

• Preparing working drawings and construction documents for various types of commercial projects
• Attending client design meetings and technical coordination with in-house team
• Coordinating with consultants
• Researching and applying zoning by-laws to projects based on location
• Collaborating with team members to achieve desired results and meet required guidelines
• Reforming site visits and creating reports for review

You'll Need to Have

• Architectural Technology/ Technician Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in architectural design, and preparation of working drawings in North America
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
• A thorough understanding of building science, construction materials, building codes, construction methods and architectural detailing
• Excellent written and verbal communication
