Berghuis Design Group is growing.

We are a new and small but quickly growing custom home design firm based out of Edmonton, Alberta. We are currently seeking a talented, creative, energetic, and motivated Senior Architectural Designer/Technologist to join our team and help shape the future of our company and portfolio.

ROLE

Develop and produce architectural drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials using BIM-based tools Collaborate with project leads and consultants on all phases of design, from concept development to construction/permitting drawings Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and industry standards Participate in client meetings, site visits, and coordination with consultants and contractors Assist in project coordination, detailing, and documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field 5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural or design office Located in Edmonton, Alberta, and holds a valid drivers license. Experience with BIM-related tools and rendering software (ArchiCAD or equivalent) Solid understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction methods Excellent organizational and communication skills, team player, ready to grow and learn quickly

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
