Your Role
As our Senior Architectural Designer / Technician, you'll be a technical leader and creative collaborator. You'll oversee full drawing packages and carry projects from start to finish before they transfer to the interior design team. Along the way, you'll ensure Ontario Building Code compliance, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and meet directly with clients. Your work will help transform inspired concepts into buildable, enduring homes.
You'll Be Doing Things Like
Producing and overseeing high-quality Revit drawings and details.
Navigating municipal zoning bylaws and OBC requirements with confidence.
Meeting with clients to guide them through design decisions.
Coordinating with consultants and trades to keep projects on track.
Contributing to concept development and design reviews.
You're a Great Fit If You Have
8+ years of residential architectural design experience in Ontario.
5+ years of professional Revit experience.
Valid BCIN certification (required).
Strong knowledge of OBC and zoning bylaws.
Proficiency in:
Revit and CAD software
Microsoft Office Suite
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Adobe Acrobat
Passive House or sustainable design experience (asset).
Strong client-facing communication skills.
Education
- Education - ACET graduate from an Ontario college (or) bachelor's degree in interior design (or)
Bachelor of Architecture (or) Diploma (DEC) in Architectural Technology.
- Minimum 5 + years experience working in a design firm focused on residential new builds, additions, renovations and interior design.
