Essential Skills & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement high-performance, reusable, and reliable APIs. Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand user needs and convert them into technical requirements. Integrate APIs with existing software systems and data sources. Optimize APIs for speed, efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Test APIs to ensure responsiveness, functionality, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, including bugs and performance bottlenecks. Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to keep APIs modern and competitive. Document API development standards, processes, and technical guidelines for internal teams. Provide technical support for APIs, including maintenance and issue resolution. Implement security measures such as encryption and data protection for APIs. Demonstrate a solid understanding of certificate management. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build secure, scalable infrastructure. Automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
