Senior Analyst, Vendor Performance Management

Job Description

  • This role is part of the Technology team, with a focus on tracking, analyzing, and managing the performance Fairstone's key strategic vendors. This important role will help control costs, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement with these vendors and ensure Fairstone's success.
  • Working as a team with internal teams owning the vendor relationship the role is a key governance activity, which encompasses the identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting on key vendor service levels versus contractual agreements.
  • As part of the team, you will be required to take part in regular communication with these vendors and assist as a liaison in matters related to vendor's performance and compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Vendor Relationship owners within Fairstone to manage the following for each of our strategic vendors.
  • Co-ordinate monthly and quarterly vendor reviews.
  • Manage scorecards.
  • Manage collection of monthly data with Vendor Relationship owners and vendors
  • Manage monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Maintain records of each review including documentation and follow up of action items.
  • Communicate performance with vendor and build a plan to improve lagging areas.
  • Work with internal groups to lead the execution of the agreed upon plan to ensure vendor performs as expected.
  • Understand the business need that is supported by a vendor's service/product.
  • Thoroughly understand contract between Fairstone and the vendors:
  • Terms
  • SLAs
  • Support ITSM team with Change Management, Problem Management, Incident processes as needed.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in dealing with vendors and internal IT Management teams.
  • Prior Vendor Performance Management experience or Vendor Management experience.
  • Bachelor degree in Information technologies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize technical information.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Capacity to effectively manage time and priorities.
  • Bilingual is an asset (French & English).
