Description :

Under supervision and in collaboration with a team, the incumbent conducts analysis on samples of finished products using methods, techniques, analytical equipment and according to pre-established specifications. He ensures full compliance with the guidelines of Good Laboratory Practices. He declares any out of specification (OOS) results.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • To perform physical and Physico-chemical tests, qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses
  • To ensure the use of current versions of the specifications and methods
  • To program and operate the existing data acquisition systems.
  • To share observations with the immediate supervisor to suggest ideas of improvement.
  • To report any difference between the result obtained and the one expected.
  • To participate in continuous improvement program using available tools.
  • To perform complex analyses: UPLC, Conductivity detector (Dionex).
  • To perform GC analysis
  • Participate in writing and review of SOP
  • To give training of specific techniques
  • To participate in laboratory investigations process
  • To perform data review occasionally
  • To support analysts in the laboratory in case of problem or investigation
  • To write scientific documents
  • To participate actively in preparation or replying Clarifax or deficiency letters
  • To ensure full compliance with the guidelines of Good Laboratory Practice.
  • To ensure to meet HSE standards.

  • Fluency in the use of Empower II software (Waters), LIMS (Labware) and Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • DEC : six (6) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor: four (4) years of relevant experience
