Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Risks, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the portfolio management and monitoring process.

Your role\xc3\x82

• Manage the application of investment policies for managed solutions and of strategic decisions regarding portfolio positioning
• Manage the impact of cash movements on managed solutions
• Communicate and plan with our investment partners
• Validate and reconcile transactions\xc3\x82
• Work on compliance and operational due diligence audits with Portfolio Managers and help write reports and recommendations
• Participate in developing tools to present investment risks

Desired skills\xc3\x82

• Relevant bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree (finance, accounting or other relevant field) and at least 10 years of experience or a completed master\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a related area of activity and 8 years of relevant experience
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), an asset
• Excellent knowledge of Excel\xc3\x82
• Experience in fund accounting (an asset)
• Experience in process optimization (an asset)\xc3\x82
• Understanding of and familiarity with the various steps in the investment process (setting investment objectives, determining asset allocation, choosing an investment strategy, selecting securities and measuring and evaluating performance)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress
• Agility/strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and present information in layman\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s terms
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Sense of initiative and team spirit
• Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), required, as you will need to communicate with unilingual English-speaking partners on a regular basis
