Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Planning, Quality & System Performance, the Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning participates in the development of the strategic direction of Public Health by providing leadership in the areas of policy development, planning and accountability, provincial standards, best and promising practices, provincial Standard Operating Procedures and more broadly, evidence-based decision making. The Senior Analyst provides strategic analysis and advice for the advancement of defined priority areas according to Public Health\'s priorities and the identified strategic directions of Nova Scotia Health. This involves building new and fostering existing partnerships that support the achievement of priorities. The Senior Analyst, Policy & Planning leads work teams and manages projects to advance provincial Public Health priority areas and assists in developing a strategic provincial operational plans, human resource and financial planning, monitoring systems and continuous quality improvement mechanisms.The Senior Analyst assists in designing a provincial integrated plan for developing strategic and operational plans that support excellence, PH priorities and goals. The Senior Analyst also brings a strong background in quality improvement to facilitate the development of a quality program for Public Health and supports continuous improvement to advance a vision of excellence.
