Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Planning and Development, and working in collaboration with the Primary Health Care Leadership Team, the Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning participates in the development of Clinical Excellence by providing leadership in the areas of policy development, planning and accountability, provincial standards, best and promising practices, and more broadly, evidence-based decision making. The Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning provides strategic analysis and advice on issues impacting the clinical service area and/or population across the lifespan. The Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning advises and leads the advancement of defined priority areas according to the Network\'s goals and objectives and the identified strategic directions of Nova Scotia Health. This involves building new and fostering existing partnerships that support the achievement of priorities.The Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning will also lead integrated provincial planning for the Network and design strategic and operational models of care that support excellence in care delivery, improvement in health outcomes, and achievement of standards of care established by Nova Scotia Health, the Department of Health and Wellness and other relevant bodies. The Senior Analyst, Policy and Planning also brings a strong background in quality improvement to facilitate the development of a quality program for the Network(s) and supports continuous improvement to advance a vision of excellence within the Clinical Network.This position will support the Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management Network and will work across networks as appropriate.Role can be flexible within the province, and hybrid (working from home & office).About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
