We are seeking a
Senior Financial Analyst, Finance
to provide support in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial and regulatory reports for IG Wealth's investment dealer. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting while maintaining the integrity of financial information and systems. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations of financial records.
Prepare and analyze regulatory filings.
Support the preparation of related financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support IG Wealth and IGM finance functions through analysis and participation in projects to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to ongoing developments in financial reporting to meet changing business and regulatory requirements.
Assist with external auditors and regulators by providing accurate documentation and information.
Contribute to process improvements and innovation within the finance team.
Collaborate across departments to gather and validate financial information.
Qualifications
Experience in preparing financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
Post-secondary degree and CPA or working towards a CPA designation.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with general ledger and financial systems such as SAP.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and high work volumes.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain strong attention to detail.
