Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Footprint, GHG Scope 3, this position will own part of the GHG Scope 3 emissions data collection, quantification, and reporting process. This position will collaborate with external consultants, subject matter experts, and internal partners to quantify Nutrien\'s Scope 3 emissions; develop and document internal processes and controls; work with Information & Digital Services to create and implement data and information management strategy and solutions; and support the internal/external certification and assurance process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate throughout Nutrien\'s value chain to develop and maintain a repeatable, auditable Scope 3 emissions data collection, quantification, and reporting process.
  • As a member of the Scope 3 Core Working team, responsibilities will include data collection, data management, data analysis, emissions quantification, process documentation, and audit support.
  • Use your ability to think strategically and holistically to solve problems; provide advice; support the building of effective strategies and executable plans; and use insights to satisfy information requests.
  • Deliver engaging communication and act as a liaison for project-related questions between external consultants, subject matter experts (SMEs), and internal partners.
  • The role will require collaboration with external consultants and internal SMEs during the development phase and will transition to direct internal responsibility for reporting of Scope 3 categories.
Skills
  • Strong quantitative skillset with the ability to collect, clean, consolidate, analyze, and translate large data sets to infer trends and inform decisions.
  • Strong passion and demonstrated understanding of environmental issues, frameworks, programs, and multi-stakeholder initiatives (e.g., ESG reports, CDP Climate, and the Science Based Targets initiative).
  • Experience working with greenhouse gas inventories, and knowledge of greenhouse gas protocols, accounting standards, and reporting regulations (Scope 3 experience is an asset).
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural/functional environment, with a track record of operational effectiveness, innovation, and collaboration with diverse teams and remote relationships.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way that will impart detailed insights and build consensus that delivers results.
  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Power Query, Python and/or other data manipulation tools highly beneficial.
Qualifications
  • University bachelor\'s degree in environmental field including science, engineering, or accounting.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in data management and/or accounting.
  • Experience in agriculture/fertilizer industry is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $77,600 - $106,700 This range is estimated for Sr Analyst, Enviromental Footprint in Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
