Closing Date: March 10, 2025Position SummaryThe Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team plans and implements key strategic Digital programs and projects to deliver outcomes benefiting UHN and the health system. The Sr. Analyst, Change Management and Benefits Realization provides consultative support on best practices, plans project and operational activities, administers tools and templates, and develops deliverables to support readiness for change, change adoption, and benefits realization among Digital teams and UHN's broader workforce. As a member of the PMO, the successful candidate will work in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, bringing the right teams together to streamline the demand, end-to-end delivery, and operational services in order to mobilize change and achieve value.An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Senior Analyst supporting the Change Management portfolio. This position will deliver solutions that are data-driven, bring value to our stakeholders, and achieve UHN's business objectives. We are seeking a results-driven, innovative individual who can take initiative to help implement various types of digital projects that support clinicians, researchers, and corporate areas. These initiatives include organizational readiness for artificial intelligence, process improvement for benefits realization evaluation, and other major projects with clinical impact at UHN.Duties

  • Apply sound change management techniques for effective stakeholder engagement and communications, training, and implementation support.
  • Support evaluation of change adoption success for individual projects and programs/portfolios, by leveraging measurement tools and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain materials for the Change Management Centre of Excellence including version control, identifying requirements for updates incorporating new and emerging best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Provides strategic communications support, including consultation for planning and best practices, for ongoing work of Digital PMO and Operations teams.
  • Distills and translates technical requirement details into meaningful change impact communications, tailored and relevant for identified audiences.
  • Liaises with UHN Site and Program communication leads to promote and cascade digital change management and communication outputs.
  • Facilitates stakeholder inputs through meetings, presentations, working or think groups, etc.
  • Distills project objectives into measurable benefits with clear criteria and metrics for successful delivery, as well as clear ownership accountabilities during and after implementation.
  • Works with project stakeholders to develop plans that will collect pre-implementation baseline data and measure project success based on defined criteria.
  • Supports achievement of project deliverables with mitigation strategies for change adoption resistance and/or other barriers to successful benefits realization.
  • Leads program and portfolio level data aggregation and analysis to identify trends and improve processes for benefits realization planning and delivery.
  • Apply rigorous project management techniques to assist in the management of project plans, schedules, status reports, and budgets.
  • Develop adequate level of knowledge of the subject matter and digital systems being implemented to effectively move projects forward.
  • Lead simple to moderately complex projects of small to medium scope, including planning, and monitoring project progress through tracking project milestones, risks and issues to deliver project within the planned budget, schedule, and with a high level of quality.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management, Change Management, Communications or Benefits Realization experience or equivalent required
  • Experience in applying change management methodologies and tools
  • Sound knowledge of project management standards (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization) required
  • Experience leading project work streams or small projects independently, and either supervising or influencing project team members required
  • Facilitation skills in large group scenarios both to provide information and to guide groups through work that may include problem solving, diverse points of view and comfort shifting plans in the moment to meet facilitation objectives
  • Ability to communicate with confidence and demonstrate knowledge credibly and confidentiality with senior leaders, staff, feedback tool users and external vendors
  • Strong written communications skills including: writing clear direction; using a style that reflects the interests of the participant to influence behavior and achieve organization objectives; ability to write professional marketing materials.
  • Strong process improvement skills; detail orientation and systems thinking logic to investigate issues and work with internal and external parties to solve problems; improve processes; or create new processes to meet objectives
  • Organization skills to manage several tasks concurrently; ability to consider several information inputs when planning logistics / or scheduling to optimize resources; strong attention to detail and understanding of the interfaces between corporate systems/ functions for process flow and problem solving
  • Strong planning skills to manage logistics of events, courses, projects anticipating the needs of end users and team members; evaluating risks and mitigating actions
  • Change Management certification preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other certification an asset
  • Experience with Epic system an asset, including use, build, and/or vendor certified
