Senior Agile Project / Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires significant experience in project management and Agile methodologies, with the ability to lead and coach delivery teams. A strong financial industry background is often preferred or required.

Your future duties and responsibilities




. The Project Manager plans and executes cross-functional initiatives to meet business needs, solve problems, and develop new offerings. This includes defining project scope, establishing milestones and schedules.

. Expertise in project management and Agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe) is crucial for this role. The manager is expected to champion Agile values and use metrics like burn-down charts to report on team performance.

. The role involves building strong relationships and facilitating communication with senior management, cross-divisional teams, and stakeholders. A key function is acting as a liaison between technology teams and business partners.

. Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

. Identify and proactively remove impediments to ensure smooth project execution.

. Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, sprint progress) and communicate insights to management and stakeholders.

. Promote a culture of accountability, self-organization, and continuous improvement within the team.

. Facilitate effective decision-making by providing visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.

. Partner with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share knowledge, standardize best practices, and drive organizational agility.

. Ensure adherence to Agile processes and help teams evolve their practices to fit changing project needs.

. Support product release planning and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.

. Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders through clear, consistent, and proactive communication.

. Serve as a change agent, helping the organization embrace Agile and Lean thinking across business and technical areas.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role




. At least 6-9 years of overall IT experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master

. Proven experience leading multiple Agile teams in Scrum or Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks.

. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior management, executives, and technical teams.

. Solid understanding of Agile principles, Scrum methodology, and Kanban practices. Experience in facilitating effective Agile ceremonies and managing distributed or hybrid teams.

. Skilled in conflict resolution, team motivation, and fostering open communication.

. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

. Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA Align, JIRA, Confluence, Miro.





Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:



. Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.

. Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile-at-scale environment.

. Exposure to Agile transformation or organizational change management initiatives.

. Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.

. Strong presentation and facilitation skills for executive-level meetings.

. Passionate about servant leadership, team empowerment, and Agile values.

. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
