A career as a Senior Advisor in U.S. Tax Operations in the Tax operations team is an opportunity to grow within a unifying group that is an essential contributor to decisions and offers a cross-sector vision of collaboration with various partners.


Your job



Represent the sector in large-scale projects related to regulatory initiatives and technology integration Support business line partners and it teams in making decisions and deliverables Define the scope of processes to be optimised and proactively take charge of planning activities for deliverables Lead workshops with several stakeholders with leadership at various levels and expertise Model current and target processes based on mapping practises in place at the Bank Develop analysis methodologies and reliable performance and risk indicators Perform detailed, high-level impact analyses on all angles the process Apply best practises to identify and draught business requirements, understand their links and ensure their traceability Define identify test scenarios and support users Propose change management strategies to solution users and contribute to coaching and planning Expert on U.S. taxation for business lines and advise management on complex issues Lead Regulatory certification activities required by the IRS and support internal partners and external suppliers

Reporting to the Senior Manager - U.S. Tax Operations you will be part of a team of 10 colleagues and play a key role in developing practices and quality in the sector.

Prerequisites



Experience transforming end-to-end business processes in Operations Experience with test scenarios and user support Excellent knowledge of management tools Data presentation (e.g. Power BI) Knowledge of improving and mapping business processes Knowledge of investment products (securities) Knowledge of Canadian or U.S. taxation Sense of initiative, discipline, strong ability to take charge and ability to work in solution mode Good time management priorities and ability to work under pressure with good work organization and advanced planning skills
