Job Description

A career as a Senior Advisor in the Financial Markets Operations (FMO) Academy team at National Bank means acting as an expert in learning and development, change management, and communications. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your skills and abilities in executing our strategic initiatives.


Your Role



Actively participate in developing and implementing communication strategies across the Financial Markets Operations sector Support FMO sectors in creating, deploying, and updating content that promotes employee learning and development Participate in onboarding training for new employees, follow up on identified training programs, and gather information and data to continuously improve the onboarding process Actively contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of various learning and development activities such as workshops, lunch-and-learns, key competencies development, and individual coaching Support operational teams with an effective change management approach tailored to the specific needs of our partners


Your team





Within the Cross-functional Activities sector of Financial Markets Operations, you are part of a team of two senior advisors and report to the Senior Director. The roles and responsibilities of the team aim to create value for all Financial Markets Operations, which comprises about 450 employees.

Prerequisites



Completed bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, marketing or any other related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. OR any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent Experience in communications and or communication strategies Experience in training, learning and development and or content development Good presentation skills; both written and verbal Proven change management skills Demonstrated influential leadership with a management team Knowledge of financial markets and wealth management is an asset
