Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Administrator, Human Resources & Administration is responsible for supporting the human resources and administration functions of Autism Services as assigned by the Director of Finance or CEO.
The Senior Administrator, HR & Admin is an integral part of the office support team, involved in supporting the Director of Finance, CEO and Management Team in problem solving, issue identification, analysis, and recommendations related to the HR and administration functions and working to improve administrative effectiveness of the agency in human resources, payroll/benefits and general office administration. Qualifications
A certificate or diploma in human resources management or business administration with an HR and or payroll focus or related
Proven experience as an HR Administrator, familiar with labour standards and strong experience with the human resources lifecycle for a period of at least 3 years
Experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role is preferred, with knowledge of Canadian payroll practices, employment standards, tax regulations and immigration as it relates to employment, for example SINP.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing systems, preferably ADP
Experience as an Administrator with strong file management skills
Skilled with Microsoft Excel, and other data tools
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong people skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive not for profit sector salary from $43,680 - $53,093 annually, based on qualifications, skills and experience. The successful candidate will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, long-term disability, life insurance and pension matching to 4%.
