Title: Senior Administrator and Bookkeeper for Non-Profit Organization Location: Broad View United, Victoria, BC Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Salary: $55,000 - $61,000 per year ($28-$31 per hour) based on experience Benefits: Pension, 3 weeks holiday to start, and other benefits Closing Date: April 3 Broad View United, a busy and progressive church, is seeking an experienced, outgoing, and friendly person to take on the key role of Senior Administrator and Bookkeeper. Leads the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, tracking and processing accounts payable and receivables, payroll oversight, donor tracking, website maintenance, staff and volunteer support, event and rental scheduling, and coordinating congregational communication. Position Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience as a bookkeeper and administrator with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent ability to communicate both in writing and in speaking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Canva, Publisher and Wordpress
  • Strong sense of inclusion (considering race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and more).
  • Great visual skills for creating eye-catching posters and materials to promote programs and events effectively.
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks without error and deal with interruptions.
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to set deadlines and track progress on different tasks related to the role.
  • Good time management skills that allow for flexibility when completing multiple tasks in a given time frame
Remuneration and Rewards:
