About this opportunity:
As a Senior Administrative Assistant, this role will provide executive support to the Director, Lloydminster Upgrader Complex. Further support is also provided to the overall management team. Support at these levels foster an environment of creativity, participation leadership, mutual respect, and a nurturing team approach.
As the Administration Lead, there are opportunities to coach, develop and provide consistent protocols to support staff throughout the Complex. This role will be a champion for all communications initiatives to improve and enhance employee engagement, provide support and coordination for corporate and Upgrader Complex program initiatives.
This position is located in Lloydminster.

Responsibilities:
Assist Director by screening correspondence and inquiries, ensure the scheduling of appointments and meetings accurately reflects priorities, and prepare correspondence as required. Implement and improve guidelines to ensure good working practices throughout the Business Unit.
Independently manage all general office administration tasks (calendar coordination, executive visits, approval routing, travel, lunches, office supplies, mail, meeting coordination, etc).
Work independently in a fast-paced environment respecting confidential information.
Prepare and coordinate reporting and presentation for the Director, Upgrader Complex as required. This would include Town Hall coordination, slide deck preparation, reporting, communication to site, etc.
Establish and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally at all levels of the company.
Assist with the coordination of onboarding for respective roles which fall within the department or directly report to the Director.
Maintain active involvement with the Plant Leadership team.
Coordinate site meetings and events such as CEO Forums, Safety and Innovation Summits, Strategic Planning, Health and Wellness events, Bring Your Kids to Work, fundraising, special site visits, and all requested tours (ex. Investor, government, internal, technical, educational).
Develop, monitor and administer the annual plant management budget.
Involvement with all Emergency Response and Business Continuity exercises.
Create and maintain a productive work environment through leadership, guidance, direction, and involvement of people. Promote the coordinated integration of administrative practices to leadership and support staff to maximum effectiveness and productivity are achieved with a high degree of teamwork.
Establish and maintain positive communication links with Executives, Senior Management and a variety of individuals throughout the company building a strong networking and support system.
Maintain and strengthen communications throughout the Complex. Be a strong advocate of the significance of communication in the workplace.
Other project work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
High school diploma, associate degree in office / business administration or similar field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Post-Secondary education is preferred
Minimum 10 years progressive administrative experience with petroleum industry preferred
