Purpose: Reporting to Director, Pricing, this position is responsible for supporting new business pricing initiatives.

Accountabilities:

• Support the modelling and risk analysis for Flow Reinsurance pricing
• Communicate results and provide recommendations to management and other stakeholders to facilitate decision making
• Develop strong understanding of asset-intensive reinsurance across various geographies
• Support the onboarding of business into in-force management and financial reporting areas
• Propose improvements to processes and methodologies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor?s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or related field.
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), equivalent qualification of other Actuarial professional organization, or demonstrating significant progress towards this designation
• 2+ years of experience working in the annuity insurance industry
• Foundational understanding of actuarial and financial concepts
• Experience with fixed rate and indexed annuities strongly preferred
• Experience with actuarial modeling software a plus
• Experience with programming a plus
• Excellent oral and written English language skills
• Ability to effectively participate in, and help foster, a team-based work environment
• An ability to set and manage priorities in a changing work environment is essential
