Senior Accounts Payable Clerk (4 Month Contract)

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a property development company in SW Calgary to hire a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk for a 4-month contract with strong potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process semi-monthly A/P via EFT with a few cheques.
- Prepare cash requirements reports and work with Housebuilding Accountant to ensure sufficient funds are available.
- File paid invoices and other project documentation.
- Prepare bank deposits and deposit vouchers.
- Do ad-hoc analysis, quick pay, and other special projects.
- Eager to welcome challenges and enjoy a variety of tasks.
- Known for your attention to detail.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic who can\'t wait to apply all that you\'ve learned.
- Minimum 4 years\' experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to work within a multi-entity and fast-paced. environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of NewStar are considered an asset (other ERP systems such as Microsoft A/X, etc. are also beneficial).
- Exceptional accuracy, communication, and people skills.
- Real Estate industry experience (preferred).
