About the Opportunity

• Primarily provide support and assistance to Financial Controller
• Complete daily cash and noncash transaction accounting entries within the full cycle accounting
• Process and verify integrity of all daily data inputs / uploads to information management and accounting systems
• Accurately prepare, reconcile, and process directdeposit payments and wire transfers
• Assist with monthend and quarter-end close including accruals and manual journal entries
• Monthy bank account reconciliations
• Monthly inventory reconciliations to custodian statements
• Maintain and accurately file all supporting documents for all transactions processed
• Assist in various routine and ad hoc analyses and report preparation

About You

• Advance level accounting knowledge, CPA is a nice to have, however, not necessary if experience compensates

• Minimum 3 years of book keeping experience, preferably in finance or investment industries

• Strong computer skills (MST, excel, word, other MS products)

• High level of comfort with learning and using accounting software (Sage 300 is a plus)

• Demonstrated common sense and analytical skills

• Exceptional attention to detail in record keeping standards

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Excellent organizational skills

• Self motivated individual and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

• Demonstrated dependability in previous work or project experience

• Eager, outgoing, and positive individual with integrity and professionalism and willingness to support the team

• Willingness to take directions, and constructive feedback and committed to learning and improving

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
