Job #4605 - Our client, a leading independent technology and services provider, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong organizational and communication skills while mastering the ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall financial reporting and ensuring effective internal controls are in place. Reporting to the Controller, the main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Lead international transactions, margin transfers and intercompany balance reconciliations
• Manage bank and cash transactions, weekly cashflow projections, wire payments and liaise with bank on enquiries
• Review and calculate rebates
• Review and approve new vendor set-ups and credit limits
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed and provide guidance
• Other duties as requested

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years progressive experience, including full cycle accounting
• High attention to detail
• Excellent English interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
• *Must have lived in Canada for at least 10 years
