About the Opportunity

• Supporting the Assistant Controller to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end closing processes for all entities.
• Preparing monthly accounting journal entries, and accounting working papers ensuring they are prepared and processed accurately and timely.
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliation and support ensuring validity and accuracy of accounts.
• Responsible for producing required monthly management reports and KPIs for the business to be included in the reporting dashboard.
• Assisting with the Preparation of annual budget, working collaboratively with the multi-functional team. Challenge key assumptions based on actual trends, knowledge of the business model, and the need to continuously improve overall profitability.
• Produce monthly variance analysis of actual vs budget for the team. Provide root cause analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and deliver planned targets.
• Investigate, research, and comply with various monthly HST/PST/GST/QST reporting for

About You

• CPA
• 2-3 years of full cycle accounting experience including journal entries, period end close and reconciliations.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data

Salary Range
$85,000 - $87,000/year
