At TC Transcontinental, we\'ve got it made, and that\'s because of the expertise of our team. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant. The incumbent will be part of the General Accounting team at TC Transcontinental\'s head office and will work with a team of people ready to make their mark and innovate. The incumbent will report to the Chief Accountant, Fixed Assets and will be called upon to play a key role in various continuous improvement projects and acquisition integrations. These projects will involve working with multiple teams such as financial reporting, financial analysis, information technology and operational areas.

Workplace: 1500 Jules Poitras Boulevard, St-Laurent. Telecommuting in hybrid formula.

• Monitor and analyze consolidated and non-consolidated fixed asset items (fixed asset continuity schedules, signing bonuses, cash flow statement movements and others)
• Develop and implement control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to accelerate the production of financial information and quality for management decision making.
• Participate in the project to automate the monitoring and improvement of fixed asset management.
• Provide financial information for corporate tax returns and for external and internal auditors.
• Prepare certain notes for the financial statements.
• Provide assistance to plants and team members at month end.

When your expertise drives us.

• CPA accounting designation (asset)
• University degree in administration, accounting, or finance option
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, including fixed assets (asset)
• Excellent knowledge of Excel software
• Mastery of ERP software, People Soft an asset
• Bilingualism in French and English; Spanish an asset
