Senior Accountant
JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Accounting Manager-Canada, the Senior Accountant will primarily support the Canadian operations and the global derivatives portfolio of KDP. Requires a problem-solving mindset and a demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment within a high performing culture. Also requires a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day.
Responsibilities:

• Ensure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP and IFRS for International reporting requirements and the organization's accounting policies and procedures.
• Accounting ownership and management support for various finance transactions across the BU.
• Accurate and timely reports on KDPs global portfolio of foreign exchange Derivatives and Hedge accounting (KDP Canada, KDP US, KDP Ireland, KDP Mexico)
• Work closely developing strong business relationships and understanding of department interdependencies with Treasury, Finance, Tax, Sales, SGA Marketing, and other business partners as needed.
• Support month-end activities, internal and external audits, SEC and IFRS reporting
• Support manufacturing plant in month-end close responsibilities.
• Actively engage in process improvement, alignment, and efficiencies throughout the Accounting Controllership team.
